Rita T. Quigley

Rita was born on October 2, 1916 in Kankakee, IL. to Magdaline Raukaitas and Mike Schaltees. She married Joseph Quigley on February 27, 1938 at St. Rose Catholic Church, Kankakee, IL. He died on April 15, 1985. Rita was a sales clerk for different stores in the Kankakee area, retiring from Hornsby's in Bradley. She was a seamstress and enjoyed gardening and yard work.She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Michael & Judith Quigley of St. Anne, IL., three daughters and two sons-in-law, Theresa O'Connor of Kankakee, IL., Joanne & Robert Mulligan of Kankakee, IL., Rosemary & William Scroggins of Kankakee, IL., one sister, Veronica LaVella of Kankakee, IL., one brother, Richad Schultz of Florida, 15 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, son-in-law, Donald J. O'Connor, brother and sister-in-law, John & Eula Schultz, two sisters and two brothers-in-law, Bernice and Joseph Bires, Nellie & Don Schmidt, one brother and sister-in-law, Frankie & Ruby Schultz, and a brother-in-law, Raymond LaVella.
