Richard Prince

Richard Prince Jr., 95, Venice FL and Kalamazoo MI passed away peacefully on Dec. 12, 2018. Born in Kalamazoo, MI and survived by his loving wife Irma of 47 years, 3 children, 2 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Richard(Dick) is now able to join his son Jim who died a tragic death in 1971 at age 20. After serving in the Army and Air Force during WW2, Dick graduated from the School of Architecture at Univ. of MI. He had a successful architectural firm and designed many schools in MI. An avid golfer, boater and sailor, Dick enjoyed the links, lakes and oceans. Dick was a past president of the America Red Cross of Kalamazoo, member of the AIA, Masonic Anchor Lodge, Elks, Deacon at First Presbyterian of Kalamazoo, 30 yr. member at Gull Lake Country and Yacht Clubs, and a member at Venice Presbyterian Church. Memorial service to be held at Venice Presbyterian Church Saturday Jan. 19, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. located at 825 Rialto, Venice FL. Donations in Dick's memory can be made to Masonic Anchor Lodge or the American Red Cross of Kalamazoo.
