Priscilla Moats

Priscilla "Pris" Joyce (Oman) Moats passed away on May 5, 2020, due to complications from a stroke. She was born October 30, 1934, in Comstock, Michigan, to her parents Lewis "Maynard" and Evelyn (Gustafson) Oman. Priscilla moved to Moulton, Alabama in 2010. At the time of her passing, she lived in Decatur, Alabama at Decatur Health and Rehab nursing home. Priscilla married her late husband, JP Moats, in 1957. During their life together, JP and Priscilla had 6 children (David, Pamela, Doris, Theresa, Kevin, Christine), 6 grandchildren (Michael, Mike, Mandy, Tiffany, Crystal, and Priscilla), and 2 great-grandchildren (Dimitri and Dahlia). Priscilla loved being with her family, cooking, crafting, reading, and gardening. She was a strong, caring person who encouraged other women to be confident in themselves. Priscilla was direct and would not leave you wondering what she thought because she was blunt enough to tell you, good or bad! Due to government restrictions, the family will be holding a limited celebration of Priscilla's life on Wednesday, May 13, 2020.
