Priscilla Arnold

Priscilla died peacefully at Bronson Hospital on January 10. She was born September 17, 1909 in Scranton, PA, the daughter of Charles and Rachel (Jones) Opper.

Priscilla worked at many jobs during her lifetime and eventually found a career as a cosmetologist. Following her retirement from Eckerd Drug Co. in Miami Beach, Priscilla moved to Kalamazoo where she lived at Westland Meadows. She made many friends there and was an active member of that community. She was also a member of Super Seniors of Third Reformed Church for many years and of Portage Senior Center. For the past four and a half years Priscilla resided at Tendercare of Portage where she was well looked after by the caring staff.

Priscilla was preceded in death by her former husband, Fred Arnold and a brother, Charles Opper. She is survived by three children and their spouses: Chester C. and Jo Arnold of Portage, Judith Arnold of Chicago and Linda and Paul Liberman of Syracuse, N.Y.

A memorial service will take place at the Rupert, Durham, Marshall & Gren Funeral Home Portage Chapel on Saturday, January 18, 2003 at a time to be announced later. Memorial donations may be made to Heritage Community of Kalamazoo, the activities fund at Tendercare of Portage or to a charity of your choice.
