Phyllis G. Werner

Phyllis G. Werner, age 82, passed away peacefully on July 3, 2019 at Borgess Gardens. Phyllis was born August 26, 1936 in Kalamazoo, the daughter of Robert and Audrey (Whitmore) Welsh. In her younger years, Phyllis enjoyed spending time outdoors and loved playing bingo. Phyllis was a longtime resident of Borgess Gardens, she enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Phyllis is survived by her sons: Ronald Werner Jr. and Scott (Theresa Wolthuis) Werner; daughters: Kim (Jerry) Bawkey and Penny (Chuck) Dennany; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; brother, Butch Welsh; many nieces, and nephews. Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Jim Welsh. A gathering of family and friends for a graveside service will take place on Saturday, July 20, 2019, 11:30 AM at Oak Hill Cemetery, 6942 Lindsey Road, Plainwell, Pastor Dan Bowman officiating. Immediately following the graveside service, family and friends are invited to daughter, Penny Dennany's residence located at 12765 Graham Road, Plainwell for a luncheon.
