Peter DenHartigh

Pete passed into the arms of Jesus on Sunday morning, April 15, 2018. He was born on September 10, 1924 in Broek Op Langedijk, The Netherlands, to Jan Paulus and Altje DenHartigh. He was a very dedicated father, husband and Opa, who had a strong religious and spiritual center. He was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Jacoba "Coby" DenHartigh, his 3 sisters and two brothers. He leaves to cherish his memory his children, John (Ann) DenHartigh; William DenHartigh, Linda (Jan) Vermeulen; Donald (Penny) DenHartigh, his brother, Willem DenHartigh, 10 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Friday, April 20, 2018 from 5p-7p at the funeral home. A service in honor of Pete will be held on Saturday, April 21, at 11 a.m. at Comstock Christian Reformed Church. located at 5300 Comstock Avenue with Pastor Ben Hulst officiating. A graveside committal ceremony will immediately follow the service. Pete will be laid to rest next to his wife at Maple Grove Cemetery in Comstock.
