Paul A DeBoer, age 89, of Kalamazoo, MI passed away peacefully on January 12, 2017 in New Port Richey, FL where he had been living the past 2 years. He is survived by his loving wife Mildred "Mickey" of 30 years, son Bob (Sue) of Ft Myers, FL, David Brink of Wayne, NJ, daughters Nanette (Dan) of Macy, IN, Katy Geiger (Victor "Skip") of New Port Richey, FL, Barbara Sweezy (Bob) of Winthrop, ME, and brother Jack (Marilyn) of Wichita, KS; grandchildren, Bradley (Debrah) of Kalamazoo, MI, Casandra of Ft Myers, FL, Jennifer McQuinn (Joey) of Macy, IN, Jessica Corn (Mathew) of Swayzee, IN, Jordan (Alex Kay) O'Neal of Tucson, AZ, James Geiger of Tampa, FL, Lauren Brink Halloran (Sean) of Weehawken, NJ, Kristen Brink of Bethesda, MD, and several great-grandchildren. Preceding him in death were his parents, Al and Kathryn and his first wife Edith.Paul was a U.S. Army veteran cryptographer. He later worked 22 years at Sears. He was a life long member of Trinity Reformed Church and volunteered at the Shepherd's Center in Kalamazoo where he was named 1994 Volunteer Driver of the Year. When he wasn't volunteering he enjoyed traveling the U.S. with Mickey and outings to the American Legion. He enjoyed photography and golf with buddies. He had a caring heart and loved to be surrounded by children.At Paul's request and in according to family wishes, a celebration of life will be held in Kalamazoo at a later date. International Cremation.

CELEBRATION OF LIFE will be held Saturday May 6th at 12:00pm. Please join the family at Mt Ever Rest Memorial Park South.
