Paul Adams

Mr. Paul S. Adams, aged 83, of Middleville, formerly of Byron Center, went to be with the Lord Sunday, May 4, 2008. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lucy; parents, Lisle and Ethel Adams; brothers, Lawrence, Merwin (Esther); grandchild, Christopher Brethauer; daughter-in-law, Kathleen Adams. Surviving are his children, Ellen Knoth (fiance' Abel Perez), Yvonne (Dan) Van Volkinburg, Brenda Chase, Arthur Adams (fiancee' Kathy Bodus), Rebecca (Mark) VanAntwerp, Andrea Adams; grandchildren, Mike Knoth (finacee' Angie Glerum), David (Becky) Knoth, Amos Knoth, Mark (Angela) Van Volkinburg, Michelle (Rob) Hudson, Dawn (Larry) Henderson, Chad (Holly) Van Volkinburg, Amanda Brethauer, Jeff Brethauer, Jennifer Brethauer, Derrick Hall, Dakota Hall, Casey Hall, Todd (Sue) Elliott, Marcia Bell, Aaron Hollebeek, Alison (Pete) De Kraker, Andrew Hollebeek (fiancee' Cindy Cowley), Mitchell Adams, Stephanie Adams, Shelby Adams; 17 great grandchildren with an additional three to arrive soon; several nieces, nephews and special friend, Betty Allen. Mr. Adams retired in 1992 from General Motors after 25 years of service. He loved the outdoors and farming was a hobby he really enjoyed. Paul was a WWII veteran serving his country in the US Navy. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 6, 2008 at Corinth Reformed Church, 129 - 100th St. SE with Pastor Bob Holmes officiating. Interment Rosedale Memorial Park. The family will greet relatives and friends Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Ronan-Vanderpool-Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 3131 S.
