With his family by his side, Patrick M. Drier, age 70, passed away peacefully, Thursday, January 25, 2018 at his residence. He was born in Racine, April 10, 1947, son of the late Harry and Margaret (Nee: McMahon) Drier.

Pat proudly served in the United States Army and recently was escorted by his son on the Stars and Stripes Honor Flight. On July 7, 1973 he was united in marriage to Mary E. Schatzley. He was employed by Twin Disc for forty years, retired in 2010 and belonged to their “20 Year Club”. He was a member of St. John Nepomuk Catholic Church. Pat also enjoyed time with the Interfaith Dartball League. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who will be dearly missed.

Survivors include his wife, Mary; his children, Christopher (Stacy) Drier, Cory (Jeremy) Fitch, Beth Davis; former son-in-law, Mike Davis; his five grandchildren, Thomas, Elijah, Amara, Amelia and Molly; brothers and sisters, Harry (Lynne) Drier, David Drier, Margaret Caretta, Harriet (Russell) Bohn; sisters-in-law, Carol Drier, Toni Drier; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his brothers, Joseph and Thomas.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, February 2, 2018, 11:00 A.M. at St. John Nepomuk Catholic Church, 1903 Green Street, with Rev. Don Zerkel officiating. Entombment with Full Military Honors will follow at Holy Cross Garden Mausoleum, Hwy 32. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Thursday at the funeral home from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. and Friday at church from 10:30 A.M. until time of Mass at 11:00 A.M. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Stars and Stripes Honor Flight or DEBRA (DEBRA.org) have been suggested.
