Patricia Shannon

Passed away Friday September 27, 2019 at Borgess Place. Patricia was born September 9, 2019 in Detroit the daughter of Charles and Mildred (McClelland) Reynolds. She was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church, The Red Hat Society and she enjoyed reading. On September 30, 1950 in Detroit Patricia was united in marriage to James Shannon who preceded her in death on July 23, 1996. Also preceding her in death was her son, Patrick Shannon in 2002 and her sister, Rosemary Brode; niece Kathleen. Surviving are four children, Dan (Gail) Shannon of Kalamazoo, Mike (Gerry) Shannon of St. Joseph, Kevin (Sherry) Shannon of Lansing, Donna (Donald) Carrier of Kalamazoo; sixteen grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; niece Karen Brode. Friends will be received 5-8 pm Thursday October 3, 2019 at Parchment Redmond Funeral Home where a Rosary will be recited at 7:30 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 am Friday October 4, 2019 at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, where a luncheon will follow. Interment will be in Ft. Custer National Cemetery at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Ambrose Church.
