Age 74 died peacefully on July 2, 2018 at his home. Om was born May 14, 1944 in Katha, West Punjab, India, the son of Arjan Das and Agyawati (Obrai) Jolly. Om earned his Ph.D. in nuclear physics from McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. He retired from Entergy following 29 years of service as a nuclear engineer. Surviving are his wife of 46 years, Savita Jolly; 3 children: Ankur (Corrinn) Jolly, Surabhi (Anuj) Mahajan and Seema Jolly; 7 grandchildren: Wyatt, Navia, Naura, Nayana, Ethan, Saloni and Akshay; 2 siblings: Subhash (Sudha) Jolly and Suraksha Tondon and many nieces and nephews. Services will take place Friday from 10AM – 12Noon at the Betzler Life Story Funeral Home, 6080 Stadium Dr. Kalamazoo (269) 375-2900. Cremation will follow.
