Norman Jones

Jones, Norman G. Age 91, passed away suddenly at Bronson Hospital on March 8, 2017. Norm (Bud) was born Jan. 9, 1926 to Winifred and Flosse Jones in Mishawaka, IN. He honorably served his country in World War II with the rank of Sargent, being discharged in 1946. He was a local truck driver with American Cyanamid (Now Cytec) for over 40 years, retiring in 1988. Norm loved traveling, camping and playing golf with his 3 retired children, with whom he scored better a big share of the time. He also loved weekly lunches with his kids and several nieces and nephews. Norm is survived by his wife, Elizabeth (Alaine) Doolen-Jones; the mother of his children, June Herder; daughter, Kerry (Ken) Stuart; sons, Daniel (Mary) Jones and Joel (Linda) Jones; stepchildren, Kelle Kelsey and Joel Proffer; 6 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and his very best card playing friends, Annie Opolka and Mary Jane Fuller.
