Natalie M. Schroeder

Natalie passed away unexpectedly on Sunday May 20, 2018. She was born on March 6, 1990 in Kalamazoo, the daughter of Rudolph and Melody (Smith) Schroeder. Natalie grew up in Kalamazoo and was a 2008 graduate of Hackett Catholic Prep High School and also attended Oakland University. She was very artistic, loved to garden and was a good cook. She loved the outdoors and being in the water. Natalie loved swimming and also swam on the Hackett Swim Team while in high school. Surviving are her father: Rudy Schroeder; brother: Maximillian Schroeder; paternal grandmother: Maria Schroeder; maternal grandmother: Ann Smith; uncle: Bruno Schroeder; aunt: Patricia Dubay; great-aunt: Elizabeth Grahovic; cousin: Melissa Coney and Natalie's boyfriend: Travis Marks. Preceding her in death were her mother: Melody Schroeder and grandfather: Jacobus Schroeder. Visitation will be from 5-8 PM on Thursday, May 24, at Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 S. 9th Street, where a service to celebrate Natalie's life will be held at 3:00 PM on Friday, May 25.
