Naomi Faye Becerra

Naomi Faye Becerra Battle Creek Naomi Faye Becerra, 65, of Battle Creek, passed away Friday, August 22, 2008 at Select Specialty Hospital in Kalamazoo. She was born May 5, 1943, Morris, Oklahoma, the daughter of Albert M. and Mary (Osborn) Nichols. Naomi was a homemaker most of her life and enjoyed bingo and gardening. She married Mr. T. "Sam" Becerra on March 7, 1959, in Bennettsville, SC. He survives her. Naomi is also survived by her children, Mary (Terry) Quigg of Battle Creek, Deborah (Daryle) Eaton of Eaton Rapids, Tina Meinke, Tara (Jon) Bloore and Nicholas Becerra, all of Battle Creek. She also leaves her grandchildren, Jonathan, Matthew, Breanna, Curtis, Heather, Darian, and Delanie and her sisters, Helen Corbin and Anna (Gene) Parker and brothers Herbert Shaw and Howard Nichols. Friends may call after 12:00 p.m. Tuesday at Royal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 27, 2008 at the funeral home. Interment will be at Ft. Custer National Cemetery.
