Nancee J. Getman, age 78, passed away Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at Kenosha Estates. Nancee was born in Racine, April 16, 1938, daughter of the late Nicholas and Mary (Nee: Kuehmann) Cespkes.
Nancee loved cats and adored all animals and was a member of the Racine Zoological Society. She enjoyed attending art museums and was an avid gardener.
She will be dearly missed by her daughter, Catherine Getman; her sister, Mary Jane Anderson; sisters-in-law, Sandi Lemke, Nancy (Chet) Iglinski; other relatives and many dear friends.
Private services were held with interment at Holy Cross Cemetery, Hwy 32. Memorials to the Wisconsin Humane Society, Racine Zoological Society or to the River Bend Nature Center have been suggested.
The family extends a special thank you to the entire staff at the Kenosha Estates, especially to Eunique, Jolynn, and Rachel for their loving and compassionate care.
