Michael Schroka

Michael Aaron Schroka, 36 of Lake Ann, died unexpectedly, Sunday, December 17, 2017.

He was born on January 13, 1981 in Dearborn the son of Douglass Thomas and Patricia Mary (Derbacz) Schroka.

Michael graduated from Garden City High School in 1999. He then attended Saginaw Valley State University, where he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Business.

He met the love of his life, Tonya on May 25, 2006. They were married on November 24, 2007 and moved to Lake Ann in 2009.

In 2010 he took a position as an account manager with American Fidelity Assurance Company. Michael worked hard and worked his way to his recently position of District Manager overseeing three states. He was a member of the TKE Fraternity at Saginaw Valley State University.

Michael’s first love was spending time with his family. He loved his children and was a devoted father and husband. He enjoyed cooking, golf, football, especially the Patriots and other sports.

Michael is survived by his wife, Tonya (Ziolkowski) Schroka; 9 year old daughter, Gabriella; 7 years triplets, Stella, Shaelyn and Landry all of Lake Ann; parents, Douglass and Patricia Schroka of Garden City; brother, Matthew (Tracy) Schroka of California; childhood friend who is like a brother, Mark Harley; mother-in-law, Brenda Smith and father-in-law, Bruce Smith; sister and brother-in-law, Melisa (Ian) Bertram; aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and many friends.

Funeral Services 2pm Friday, December 22, 2017 at Lake Ann United Methodist Church. Visitation will start at 1pm
