Michael L. Bagdasarian, age 84, passed away Sunday, December 10, 2017 at Ascension All Saints Medical Center. He was born in Racine, March 12, 1933, son of the late Arman and Rose (Nee:Yesian) Bagdasarian.

Mike graduated from Wm Horlick High School “Class of 1951” and proudly served in the United States Air Force from 1952-56. On May 13, 1961 he was united in marriage to Madelynn S. Frank. Mike was employed by J.I. Case Company for forty-three years as an Export Manager in the International Division. Mike was a longtime member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church and a member of J.I. Case Twenty Year Club. An avid fisherman, he also enjoyed camping up north in Minocqua. More than anything he devoted and loved spending time with his family.

He will be dearly missed by his loving wife of fifty-six years, Madelynn; his children, David (Audrey) Bagdasarian of Manchester, New Hampshire, Karen Bagdasarian of Racine, Michael (Kimberly) Bagdasarian of McComb, MI; his grandchildren, Alec, Olivia, Elise; brother, Alex (Rose) Bagdasarian of Racine; sister, Var Krikorian of Racine; nieces, nephews, other relatives; special friends, Perry and Pat Peragamian, Margaret Wigman; and many dear friends. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Steve Krikorian.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, December 16, 2017, 10:00 A.M. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1533 Erie Street, with Rev. Steve Varghese officiating. Entombment with Full Military Honors will follow at Holy Cross Garden Mausoleum, Hwy 32. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Friday at the funeral home 5-7 P.M. and Saturday at the church 9-10 A.M. Memorials to St. Joseph’s Catholic Church or St. Hagop Armenian Church have been suggested.

The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Dr. Nicholas Akgulian, nurses, Kathryn, Sue, and Kate for their loving and compassionate care and to the neighbors for their help and support these past two years.
