Michael Allman

Allman, Michael James (age 66) of Fairfax Station, VA passed away on Tuesday, December 29, 2020. Beloved husband for 37 years of Sally Ann (Wallach) Allman; loving father of Hannah Kathleen, Audrey Marie and Mariana Josephine Wallach; preceded in death by parents and one sister Joan (Allman) Rentschler; Also survived by siblings, David Allman, of Kalamazoo, MI; Mary (Allman) Kovach of Paw Paw, MI; Marilyn (Allman) Goldberg of Springfield, VA; Thomas Allman of Ceresco, MI; Julia (Allman) Buck of Kalamazoo, MI; and many nieces and nephews. Michael attended St. Augustine Elementary School, Hackett Catholic High School and received a Bachelors in Naval Architecture from the University of Michigan in 1976. He worked for a number of defense contractors before finishing his career as an accomplished naval architect working for the US Navy. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wed. Jan. 6, 2021 at 11:30 a.m. at St. Raymond of Peafort Catholic Church, 8750 Pohick Road, Springfield, VA 22153. Following the funeral service will be a committal service at St. Peter Catholic Church Cemetery, 12762 Lee Highway, Washington, VA 22747.
