Maxine Oetman

Oetman, Maxine "Macky" Plainwell, MI Maxine passed away Friday, February 19, 2021 at Rose Arbor Hospice in Kalamazoo. She was born January 16, 1942 in Magoffin, Missouri, the daughter of Albert and Mary Ingram. Macky worked at Flex Fab in Hastings and FEMA Corporation in Kalamazoo for many years. In her free time she enjoyed going to car shows. Macky loved collecting butterflies and angel figurines. On December 12, 1981 she married Don Smith who passed away in 2010. On May 5, 2017 in Allegan she married William Oetman who survives. Also surviving are her daughter, Nancy (Doug) Risner of Delton; 4 grandchildren, Bryan (Melissa) Risner, Steve Risner, Heather Hall and Heidi (Tony) Pinks; 9 great-grandchildren; sister, Eilene Burke of Arizona; nephew, Jeffrey Burke and step-children, David Smith, Don (Michelle) Smith and Teresa Rayburn. She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband, Don and son, Mike Morse. Friends may visit with Macky's family from 5-8 PM, Monday, February 22, 2021 at the Winkel Funeral Home, Otsego, where a funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, February 23, 2021 with Pastor Mike Risner officiating. Burial will follow at Mountain Home Cemetery in Otsego. In accordance with Covid -19 guidelines a limit of 25 people at a time will be allowed and masks and social distancing will be required.
