Mary Maguire

Mary D. Maguire, age 88, of Gobles, MI passed away Monday, March 20, 2017 at Ely Manor in Allegan. Mary was born May 14, 1928 in Dublin, Ireland, the daughter of the late James and Margaret Maguire and had lived in the area since 1990. Mary was a member of St. Jude Parish in Gobles for many years and was also a member of the women's guild at the church. She enjoyed playing golf and had served as a medical assistant for many doctors offices in the Chicago area. Surviving is her dear friend of 45 years, Donna Murphy; a sister, Pauline Maguire of Ireland; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Charles; and a sister Teresa. The family will meet friends on Saturday at St. Jude Catholic Church, Gobles from 10 AM until time of mass of Christian burial at 11 AM, Fr. Jim Morris, Celebrant.
