Mary Jean Arehart, age 83 of Plainwell went to be with the Lord on June 17, 2013 at Holland Community Hospital. Mary Jean is the daughter of Charles and Hazel Arehart. She was born on Sept. 17, 1929. She was a miracle baby at only three pounds, she fit in a shoebox. A graveside service was held on Thursday June 20 at St. Margaret Cemetery in Otsego. Mary Jean’s family includes her brother Robert Arehart and many cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her siblings Esther Fleming, Helen Teders, Lew Arehart, Velma Hicks, Carl Arehart and Johnnie Arehart. Mary Jean enjoyed playing Bingo, reading and going out to restaurants. Memorial donations can be made to Saint Margaret’s Catholic Church.
