Mary Berry

Berry, Mary 11/17/1927 - 10/23/2015 Los Angeles Mary Geyer Berry, age 87, of Kalamazoo, MI passed away on October 23, 2015 in Los Angeles. She was born November 17, 1927 in Albion, MI to George Geyer and Ethel (Gilbert) Geyer. She had 1 brother Kenneth, who died in 1955. She and surviving spouse Douglas Berry were married in 1951, and raised 2 sons Thomas George (d. 1981) and Kenneth Douglas (married to Connie Nassios, one granddaughter - Abigail Berry). Mary graduated from Eastern Michigan University majoring in Fine Arts. She co-founded the Kalamazoo Pastel Society, and her "Crane Park" painting won the Van Fulpen Award in 1987 and its 500 limited-edition prints are now enjoyed around the country. Mary was a devoted wife and mother, and will be greatly missed. Memorial service: Nov. 7 at 10:30AM at Hollenbeck Palms Chapel in Los Angeles.
