It is with sad hearts the family of Mary Rosann Ambs share with the world the peaceful passing of Mary from her earthly bounds to the glorious heavens above on August 11, 2019. Listening to favorite hymns and her sister Jerri holding her hand with family by her side. She was a graduate of Athens High School class of 1952. Where she met and married her high school sweetheart Jack L. Ambs (deceased). They shared over 60 years together. Raising four children: daughter Sandra and sons Mike (Joann), Jackie (deceased) and John Ambs. Mary is also survived by a son-in-law Jerry Dinzik and sister Jerri Farrington. Preceded in death by three sisters Katie Dove, Terry Roseberry and Kathy Ballard. Mary shared many good memories with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren: Michael (Regina), Katelyn and Michael Anthony Ambs, Michelle (Matt) Ryan, and Ally Fielbrandt, Jeremy (Shelley), Andrew Dinzik and Stacy (Bailey) Paisley and Greyson Cupp; several special nieces and nephews. Family and friends were a very important part of Mary's life. Always happy when she was able to enjoy time together. Mary devoted her time caring for "The Boys" and baking the best homemade treats for all to enjoy. She also worked for Smits Greenhouse, retiring in 1997.
