Mark Gay

Age 40, passed away suddenly May 9, 2017 in Climax. Mark was born September 4, 1976 in Kalamazoo, the son of David and Beverly (Weck) Gay and was a lifelong Climax area resident. He graduated from Climax-Scotts High School in 1994. For the past 3 years, he was employed with the Village of Climax and was a member of the Laborers Union for 6 years. Mark would help and do anything for anybody day or night without hesitation. He enjoyed watching sports and was an avid fan of Notre Dame. Mark also loved music, especially the bands Counting Crows and Bon Jovi. Family was very important part of Mark's life. Surviving are his wife: Ivy (Tadena) Gay; his daughter: Tori Gay; his mother: Beverly (Randall) Isaacs of Climax; his father: David S. Gay of Delton; his brother: Dave (Sherri) Haist; his sisters: Andrea (Alex) Braithwaite and Randi (Ryan) Michael; nieces and nephews: Alexander, Hailey, Georgie, Emily, Sophie and Sawyer. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Gathering to Celebrate Mark's life will be held Saturday, May 20th at the Climax American Legion (6101 South 44th St.) beginning at 1:00PM.
