Mario Lopez Sr., age 79, passed away on Sunday March 18, 2018 at WI Veterans Home - Boland Hall in Union Grove. Mario was born in Eagle Pass, TX on March 28, 1938, son of the late Alfredo and Rita (nee: Lenardes) Lopez.

In addition to his parents, Mario was also preceded in death by his brother, Alfredo Jr.; sisters-in-law, Barbara, Frances and Loretta Lopez; and brother-in-law, Terry Mish.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 1100 Erie Street, on Friday March 23, 11:00 a.m., with Rev. Antony Thomas officiating.
