Marilynn Kline

Marilynn J. Kline, age 75, of Portage, MI passed away Friday, April 14, 2017. Marilynn was born June 1, 1941 in Kalamazoo to the late Clifford and Mary (Peters) Gregory. She was united in marriage to Dale Kline on April 7, 1962, who predeceased her on October 4, 2001. Everyone who met Marilynn can attest to how loving, accepting, and wonderful she was. She was an example to live up to of a servant's heart, earmarked by her social work, her love of her family, neighbors, and friends, and the care of her Daughter, Kimberly. Kimberly would like to say how much she loves her Mom, and is so thankful for how much help she has given her throughout her life, she took the best care of her. Marilynn loved her grandchildren more than they will ever know, her pride in them showed all over her house which was covered in pictures of them throughout their lives. Marilynn is survived by her daughters, Lori (Eric) Vorpi and Kimberly Kline; grandchildren, Erica, Jacob (Cody) and Callen; one great-grandson, Dean James; sister-in-law, Sharon Gregory; and nephews, Jason and Darrick. Marilynn was also predeceased by her brother, Richard Gregory. The family will greet friends on Wednesday, April 19th from 1-3 and 5-8pm at Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Portage Chapel, 411 East Centre Ave., where a funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 20th at 1:00pm. Minister Jordan Kellicut will officiate. Burial will follow at Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park South.
