Marilyn Cook

Cook, Marilyn J. Kalamazoo, Michigan Marilyn "Mary" J. Cook, age 79 of Kalamazoo, went to be with her Lord on March 27, 2019. She was born June 7, 1939, in Holland, Michigan, the daughter of Robert and Helen (VanTubergen) VanDyke. On November 28, 1958, Marilyn married James A. Cook. Jim and Marilyn were members of the New Apostolic Church of Portage since 1969. She is survived by her husband Jim Cook; her sons: Tracy (Lisa) Cook and James C. (Pat Brown) Cook; her grandchildren: Matthew Cook, Rebekah Cook, Kailee Cook, Seraiah Cook, and James Cook II; her sisters: Helena "Rudy" Van Dyke and Eleanor Walters; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her son Barry Cook; her brothers and sisters: Angeline, Gordon, Julius, Leona, Donald, Roger, Ruth and Josephine. A memorial service will be held at New Apostolic Church of Portage, 3600 W. Milham Avenue, Portage, on Saturday, April 6th at 11:00 AM, with Evangelist Peter Cook officiating.
