Lowell Thomas

Lowell Edward Thomas, 81 of Traverse City, died March 16th, 2015.

Lowell was born on March 21, 1933 in Alma, Michigan the son of Albert Edward and Freda Mae (Church) Thomas.

He was raised in Alma until the time of his parents death. He enjoyed being a snowbird, and spending winters in Florida. While there, he loved riding his bike and put many miles on it. He also belonged to the Shuffle Board Club. He will be deeply missed as he always had a big smile and hug for everyone.

Lowell is survived by his two sisters; Louanne (Donald) Mehrhof of Traverse City and Linda Lindsay of Hamburg; 7 nieces; 4 nephews; 18 great-nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents Albert Edward and Freda Mae (Church) Thomas. Lowell's was a resident of Tendercare Health Center- Birchwood for over 8 years. The family would like to give a special thanks to Dr. Jay Klein and the staff at Tendercare Health Center - Birchwood for the amazing and wonderful care Lowell was given.
