Passed away suddenly at the home of his mother Friday, February 10, 2006. He was born December 17, 1955 in Detroit, MI, the son of the late John Adam and Yvonne (Cassar) Adam. He served with the U.S. Navy. He married Carole Wilson July 25, 1981 in Adrian, MI; she survives him. He worked as an technician in the heating and air conditioning field. Louis was a member of St. Augustine Cathedral. He was an avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed attending his children's sporting events and loved to cook. He was currently attending Lake Michigan College, majoring in Environmental Sciences. Surviving besides his wife are two sons and one daughter, John Adam, Joseph Adam and Chelsea Adam all of Kalamazoo; his mother, Yvonne Adam of St. Joseph; his sister, Debra (Keith) Adams of South Bend, IN; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, John Adam. Mass of Christian Burial will take place 10:30 a.m. Monday, February 13, 2006 at St. Augustine Cathedral, Fr. Mark Vyverman will officiate. Visitation will take place on Sunday from 2:00-4:00 & 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St ., where a rosary service will be held at 7:30 p.m. A Memorial Mass will take place 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 15, 2006 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 211 Church St., St. Joseph, MI. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, the American Diabetes Association, or the Catholic Schools of Greater Kalamazoo.
