Lori Smith

Smith, Lori 12/31/1970 - 6/26/2021 Poulsbo WA Lori Nicoe Swift Smith unexpectedly passed away in Poulsbo, WA on June 26, 2021. She was a devoted mother and wife, and a friend to many. Lori was a graduate of Kalamazoo Central, and attended KVCC, before following a career in health care for over 20 years. Lori was a "team mother" for her sons' and daughter's sport teams from soccer to baseball, to basketball. She loved being busy with her kids. Everyone who knew Lori soon discovered and enjoyed her wit and candor, as well as her very kindhearted care for others. She will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband, Andrew Smith, and her sons Isaiah, Jacob, and Gabriel, and her daughter Pia; her parents Christine Kosanke, Robert Swift and Bill Kosanke, and her brother Michael Swift; and father-in-law David Smith. She is also survived by William Heydenberk (uncle), Barbara and David Brose (aunt & uncle), and Robert and Thomas Brose (cousins), and many friends and others in her blended families. A Memorial Service to celebrate her life will take place at 1 pm on July 21, 2021 at Unity of Kalamazoo, 1204 Whites Road, Kalamazoo.
