Lori, age 75, passed at her home on Thursday, February 6, 2020 after years long battle against Progressive Supranuclear Palsy. Born Mar. 3, 1944, in Bay City, MI, Lori was the daughter of the late George and Albina (Dmoch) Kaczynski. She graduated from TL Handy High School in Bay City before attending and graduating from Western Michigan University. She worked at UpJohn Company as an accountant before retiring to raise her son. She enjoyed tennis, art, travel, and creating lasting memories with her family and friends. In 1981, Lori was united in marriage to Stanley Kerman. Sadly, he preceded her in death on Oct. 13, 2013. Surviving is her son Aaron Kerman of Chicago, IL. Lori is additionally survived by her sister, Marge Smith and brothers, Louis (Kathy) Kaczynski and Jerome (Mary) Kaczynski, sisters-in-law Kay Kaczynski and Carol Sininski, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Walt Kaczynski; twin brothers Joseph and George; Sister Rose Marie Periard; brother-in-law, Walt Smith; sister-in-law, Rita Siegel and step-father, John Gwisdala. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, February 15th at 10:30 a.m. in St. Ann Catholic Church, 12648 East D Avenue, Augusta, MI 49012 with Father Max Nightingale, Celebrant and Deacon Michael A. Carl, Assisting. Final interment will be in St. Anthony Catholic Cemetery, Fisherville, MI. Lori's family will greet friends after the Mass in the Church Social for a time of fellowship and a luncheon.
