KARSAKAS – Mrs. Loretta P. Karsakas, aged 95, of Grand Rapids went to be with her Lord on January 24, 2017. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Ted Kolen and Leonard Karsakas; and siblings, Herman Boruta, Florence Borek and Ruth Boruta. Loretta is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Paul and Debra Kolen; grandchildren, Kevin (Cristina) Stauffer, Lauren Stauffer, Josie Stauffer and Luke Stauffer; great-grandchildren, Lillianna, Ava and Madeline; many nieces and nephews; close friends, Coleen and Greg Kelly; and special neighbors, Michelle Cortez, Don Truszkowski, and Jeannett and Scott. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 AM on Monday, January 30, 2017 at Holy Spirit Parish, 2230 Lake Michigan Dr. NW. Friends are invited to visit with her family Sunday from 6:30-8:30, with a Prayer Service at 7 PM, at Heritage Life Story Funeral Homes, 2102 Lake Michigan Dr. NW.
