Loren Vanderslik

Vanderslik, Loren K. 9/13/1957 - 3/4/2022 San Diego, CA Formerly of Kalamazoo, MI. Loren was born in Kalamazoo on September 13, 1957, the son of Alvin and Krina (Linders) Van Der Slik and passed away at his home in San Diego, CA on March 4, 2022. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Alvin L. Van Der Slik, Jr., and a sister, Linda J. Burrows. Loren is survived by four brothers Ron (Betty) Van Der Slik of Kalamazoo, MI, Allen (Denise) Van Der Slik of Plainwell, MI, Rich (Karen) Van Der Slik of Plainwell, MI, and Stan (Connie) Van Der Slik of Kalamazoo, MI. He will also be missed by many cousins, nieces, and nephews. Loren graduated from Kalamazoo Christian High School in 1975 after which he began a career that he truly enjoyed, property development. Starting in Kalamazoo with stops in San Diego, Nashville, Miami and back to his favorite place to live, San Diego, CA. The last ten years he was president of the Gatlin Development Company.
