Lois Headd

HEADD (Belmont) - Lois Headd, age 54, passed away on Thursday, March 18, 2010. She was a 1973 graduate of Rockford High School. She was an excellent mother and grandmother and was very gifted as a seamstress. Lois was a member of the American Legion Merrit Lamb Unit #102. She is survived by her children, Joe Headd, Jr. and Cherie Lordy, Josh and Maggie Headd and their son, Jacen, Tony and Sondra Headd and their children, Conner Carroll, and Savanna; parents, Earl and Elsie (Vandenburgh) Fries; sister, Denise and Tom DeRienzo; brother, Gene and Deb Fries; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her brother, Ken Fries. The service for Lois will be Monday, March 22, 2010, at 1:00 p.m. at the Pederson Funeral Home with Chaplain Sue Cleveland officiating. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the American Cancer Society.
