Linda Ampey

Linda Rose Ampey, age 77, of Paw Paw, MI passed away peacefully Sunday morning, November 26, 2017 at her home with family at her side. Linda was born March 13, 1940 the daughter of John and Frances (Elliott) Coates. She was united in marriage to the late Donald Ampey on February 6, 1958 in Paw Paw, Michigan.Linda worked several years for Duo-tang Products in Paw Paw, MI. She loved her cats but most of all she loved spending time with her family, and going to sporting events of her grandchildren. Linda courageously battled with health issues for over 5 years. She was a sweet, loving and amazing person. She will be dearly missed. Linda is survived by her 5 children; Patricia Gipson, Donald (Bonnie) Ampey, Francine Anderson, Ricky Ampey and Robert (Taray) Ampey, 1 sister; Mary Phren, 2 brothers; David (Jean) Moon and Arthur George (Beverly) Moon numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Linda was preceded in death by her parents; husband; Donald, 3 sisters; Ella Willcox, Betty Raymond and Virginia Darling, and 3 brothers; John, Robert and Donald Moon. In keeping with Linda's wishes cremation has taken place and a private inurnment took place in Glendale Cemetery, Paw Paw, Michigan. Arrangements entrusted with Adams Funeral Home, Paw Paw, MI.
