Lester Babcock

BABCOCK – Mr. Lester G. Babcock aged 83, of Plainfield Twp, passed away on November 16, 2016. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn; and grandchildren, Isabel and Berkley. Lester is survived by his children, Dan (Kathy) Babcock, James Babcock, Joy (Sandro) Pinheiro, and Jill (Craig) Warners; grandchildren, Trenton, Ethan, Jamison, Kyle, Elise, and Savanah; brother, Bob (Jacqueline) Babcock; and many nieces and nephews. Lester was an accomplished carpenter who build many homes in the Rockford area. He enjoyed working with wood and had a great dry sense of humor. A special thank you to the staff of Cherrywood Manor and Faith Hospice for the compassionate care shown to Lester. A memorial visitation will be held from 2-4 (with a brief service to follow) on Monday November 21, 2016 at Heritage Life Story Funeral Home, 1833 Plainfield NE.
