Leslie Carol McSpadden Hayden of Leander, Texas passed this life on the morning of February 9. 2018 at home. She was born May 21, 1963 to Betty Carol and Ronald Douglas McSpadden in West Memphis, Arkansas. She was 54.

Leslie was a 1981 graduate of Vicksburg High School, Vicksburg, MI and attended Kalamazoo Valley Community College in Kalamazoo, MI.

In 1983 she moved to Austin, Texas where she met and and married the love of her life, for 26 years, Rickey Hayden.

She was preceded in death by her father, Ronald Douglas McSpadden, (1991) and brother, Matthew Douglass McSpadden (1999). She is survived by her husband, Rickey, Step-son Kyle (Susan) Hayden of Orlando, Florida; Mother, Betty (Carl) Stine of Beldenville, Wisconsin; brother Ronald Thomas (Michele) McSpadden of Vicksburg, Michigan and numerous other relatives and friends.

A memorial gathering will take place on Saturday, June 9, 2018 from 10am to 11am at the McCowen & Secord Family Funeral Home, Rupert-Durham Chapel, 409 S. Main, Vicksburg (269-649-1697). Please note due to the car show in town, please come to the funeral home from Highway Street (East “W” Ave). A graveside service will follow at 11am at Vicksburg Cemetery.
