Cramer, Leonard A. Of Portage, MI Leonard Alvin Cramer, age 85, went peacefully home to be with his Lord on Friday, March 1, 2019. Len was born July 4, 1933 in Comstock, MI, the son of the late Albert and Jennie (Kiewiet) Cramer. On September 25, 1953 he was united in marriage to Marie E. (Scarlett) Cramer. For many years Len worked in kitchen design shops and in 1980 he opened his own kitchen design company "That Kitchen Place" in South Haven, retiring in 2005. Len was a former member of the Singing Crusaders Male Chorus and a member of Second Reformed Church. He loved to travel. Len touched many lives during his walk on earth. He loved talking and sharing his faith and made friends wherever he went. Len was preceded in death by his loving wife of 61 years, Marie E. Cramer on June 15, 2014; and by their son, Larry Cramer in 2007. Len loved his children and grandchildren and was very proud of them. Surviving are two daughters, Julie Cramer of Portage and Caryn (Randy) Locker of South Haven; grandchildren, Adam (Leah) Locker of Zeeland, Aimee (Matthew) Johnson of South Haven and Allyse Locker (fiance Zack Bredeweg) of Grand Rapids; great-grandchildren Harper and Maryn Locker, Bryn, Reese and Nash Johnson; sister-in-law, Joan (Donald) Stamm of Portage and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Monday, March 4th, 2019 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 South 9th Street. A service to celebrate Len's life will be held at 12:00PM Tuesday, March 5th at the Second Reformed Church (2323 Stadium Drive) with Rev. Kevin Hart officiating. Interment will be in Mt.
