Mrs. Leona J. Dean, age 80, of Grand Haven, died Sunday, July 4, 2004 at her home. She was

born in Grand Haven, MI on December 8, 1923 to Henry & Grace Rosema Verhoeks and

married Leo J. Dean. She graduated from Grand Haven High School and had been a member of

First Reformed Church. Leona had been an owner of Bayou Antiques of Grand Haven Township.

SURVIVORS

Husband, Leo Dean; son, Joseph Selb of Grand Haven, MI; 2 grandchildren, Alex and

Jackson Selb; 2 sisters, Doris Dempsey of Grand Haven, MI & Sally Harrison Traverse City, MI.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Lawrence J. Selb in 1965, also her sister

Genevieve Jannenga.
