Lee Schlevensky, age 82, passed away Thursday, June 15, 2017, at Willowcrest Care Center, South Milwaukee. He was born in Racine, November 26, 1934, son of the late Leland F. and Eleanor (Nee: May) Schlevensky.

Lee graduated from Wm. Horlick High School and had served proudly in the U.S. Army Reserves. On February 8, 1969 at Holy Name Catholic Church he was united in marriage to Sylvia M. Martinelli. Lee was employed by Northside Pattern Works for 16 years. He owned and operated Regency Patterns and then worked at Badger Pattern. In his retirement Lee drove school bus for the Durham Bus Co and thoroughly enjoyed interacting with the school kids Lee had been a member of St. Rita’s Catholic Church and St. Michael’s Episcopal Church where he took great pride in his work helping out in the kitchen. He was currently a member of Racine Assembly of God. Lee also enjoyed boating, building model scale lighthouses, gardening, working in his yard, and cooking for family and friends. Above all it was time spent with family that he treasured the most. He will be dearly missed.

Surviving are his loving wife of 48 years, Sylvia; children, John Schlevensky, Amy (John) Pollock, Becky Schlevensky all of Racine; granddaughter, Ella Grace Pollock; sisters, Judy (Jim) Presley of Kenosha, Carol Loring of Iowa City, IA; brother-in-law, John Martinelli; nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a grandson, Jacob Lee Pollock; sister, Nancy Silvasi; mother-in-law, Mary Martinelli; and brother-in-law, Joe Martinelli.

Funeral services with Full Military Honors will be held at Racine Assembly of God, 1325 Airline Rd, Monday, June 19th, 2017, 6:00 P.M. with Reverend Ed Walker officiating. Relatives and friends may meet Monday at the church 4:00 P.M. until time of service at 6:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Royal Family Kids Club have been suggested. Private interment will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery, Hwy 32.

The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the nursing and PT staff at Willowcrest Care Center for their loving and compassionate care.
