Kim Roger Hall, 69, of Mattawan, MI went into eternal rest on Memorial Day with family by his side in Ft. Myers, FL Kim was born in Detroit, MI to Robert & Lois Hall. Kim grew up on Crooked Lake, Kalamazoo, MI. attending Mattawan Schools & Western Michigan University. On July 4, 1969 he was united in marriage to Nancy Kosty and they were blessed with 2 children. They enjoyed passing down lake living to Kari & Chad on Eagle Lake with grandparents & family nearby. Kim served in the Air National Guard for 6 years stationed at Battle Creek. His lifelong career was in the floor covering business as Mill Rep. Kim was instrumental in modeling a retail floor covering store with his daughter & son; today HQ Flooring is a family operated business in Otsego, MI which he has been extremely proud. His passions were with his family spending countless hours on Eagle Lake and annual hunting trips up North with dads, brothers. son, nephews. Then on to Boating in The Great Lakes & Florida. Enjoying Gulf Harbor Yacht Club, Singapore Yacht Cub, South Haven Yacht Club, and the honorary Rio Negro Yacht Club. Kim was preceded in death by his parents Bob & Lois and is survived by his spouse of 49 years Nancy Kosty, daughter Kari Kubiak/Tim, son Chad Hall/Traci. Grandchildren Riley, Bradi, Brynlee. Brothers Jerry (Carol Ann) & Paul (Tori)Hall, Rich Kosty (Mary Lou). Nieces Jodi, Jill, Kalee. Nephews Josh, Jim, Lance, Aaron. Kim is very proud of his children and the families they have nurtured as well as their strong work ethics. Kim was a very strong willed brave man who loved to make people laugh. Always a smile despite the lousy hand he was dealt healthwise. Retirement years brought the makings of many new friends in Burnt Store Marina & Ft. Myers, Florida No immediate Services are planned at this time but a Celebration of Life upon return home to MI.
