Kazimir Smolenski

Kazimir Smolenski passed away in his home in Kalamazoo, Michigan on December 20th, 2020 at the age of 29. Kaz attended the KAMSC center and Gull Lake High School. He graduated from the University of Michigan in 2013 with a BS in Economics and a BS in Psychology; Biopsychology Cognition & Neuroscience. Kaz was a talented musician - he played the viola throughout school and was a member of the Kalamazoo Junior Symphony. He loved attending concerts and sharing his favorite music with all his friends and family. Kaz was also an active individual - snowboarding and playing soccer throughout his whole life. He was an avid reader and collected many entertaining facts and jokes which he took great pleasure in sharing. Most importantly, Kaz was a thoughtful and kind-hearted soul. He will be greatly missed amongst his family and community. Kaz is survived by his father Walter Smolenski, his mother Pat Crowley, and his sister Lyrica Smolenski. A memorial will be announced at a later date. In the meantime, thoughts, prayers, and messages are deeply appreciated.
