Kay Kuchenbuch

Kathleen M. Kuchenbuch, age 91, of Gull Lake, MI died peacefully on Saturday, January 21, 2017 at the Laurels of Galesburg. Kay was born February 18, 1925 in DeWitt, Iowa, daughter of John and Catherine Mc Climon. Kay was preceded in death by her husband Paul, her parents and 5 brothers. She is survived by her sister, Eileen Poth (Steve) of Bloomfield HIlls, Michigan. In 1948, Kay married the love of her life Paul and they moved to Gull Lake, Michigan where they remained lifelong residents. They had 3 children; Diane Dalm, Debra Butterfield (Scott) and Joseph (Tina). They had 8 grandchildren; Ian Dalm (Marci), Lisa Dalm, Brian Dalm (Elaina), Miles Butterfield, Lindsay Butterfield, Zane Butterfield (Lisa), Michael Kuchenbuch, Daniel Kuchenbuch and 7 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care, Richland Chapel, 9170 East D Avenue, Richland, MI 49083 (269-629-6022), on Friday, January 27, 2017, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. with a rosary service from 7:30-8:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial to celebrate Kay's life will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 28, 2017 at St. Ann Catholic Church, 12648 East D Avenue, Augusta, MI 49012, officiated by Father John Fleckenstein. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Laurels of Galesburg, 1080 North 35th Street, Galesburg, MI 49053.
