Kathy loved her family, friends, and pets. She enjoyed traveling, swimming daily at Evergreen Commons, gardening, and home improvement projects (which she typically had at least one in motion at all times). She also enjoyed crafts, sewing and quilting.

Kathy has always been a servant to others, she loved and cared for her students, always made herself available to listen, providing a helping hand and a shoulder for support whenever needed to all. She had a soft loving heart that shown through her smile the instant you met her.
