Kathleen Hartman

Hartman, Kathleen Kathleen Hartman, age 71, of Portage, passed away April 12, 2021 after a long fight with Huntington's disease. She was born March 10, 1950 in Kalamazoo, to the late Peter and Marie (Lent) VanderRoest. Kathleen loved life and enjoyed spending time with her family. She also loved to drive her rare 1965 Porsche "Mouse" around the countryside. Kathleen is survived by her husband, Jack Hartman; children, Chris Hyman, Justin (Amanda) Hyman, Bridget Hartman, Erich (Ashley Harris) Hartman, and Josh (Lacie) Hartman; three grandchildren; and sisters, Karen (Ken) Medema and Marie (John) Smith. Services will be held for Kathleen at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Care of Southwest Michigan.
