Karen Peters

Passed away Saturday morning, January 5, 2019 at her home. Karen was born September 28, 1954 in Rogers City, MI the daughter of John and Geraldine (Hall) Greer. Karen owned and operated her own business, Errand Girl, where she spent time helping the elderly and other people in need. Karen enjoyed trips to the casino and taking frequent tropical vacations, but mostly enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, family and friends. Karen is survived by her loving husband, Mark. They were united in marriage on July 27, 1985. Karen is also survived by her daughters, Laurie (David) Otteren, Hannah Peters; 5 grandsons, Codie (Rachel) Bhuyan, Dylan Bhuyan, Kade Bhuyan, Gavin Otteren, and Kamden Kibby; a great-granddaughter, Ryleigh Bhuyan; sisters and brother, Bonnie Davenport, Judy Greer (Charles Mills), Janice Leonard, Jackie (Rob) Diamond, Craig Greer; and several nieces and nephews. Friends may meet the family from 5-8pm Thursday, January 10 at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 South 9th Street where services will be held at 11:00am Friday, January 11.
