Karen A. Fawley

Karen A. of Kalamazoo Karen Ann Fawley, age 75, passed away September 7, 2017 at home surrounded by her loving family. Karen was born October 1, 1941 in St. Clair, MI, the daughter of Leslie and June (Clark) English. She received her Bachelor's degree from WMU, and for 36 years she was an early education teacher with the Portage Public School Systems. Karen was an avid golfer and bowler, however the most important part of her life was her family. On May 11, 1990, she was united in marriage to David Fawley, who survives. Also surviving are her two children Clark (Kim) Brown and Leslie (Dan) Beach; her grandchildren C.J. Brown, Jordan Brown, Kaitlyn Brown, Jessica (Wesley) Pandoff, Cooper Beach, Chandler Beach and Parker Beach; her sister Judy Springborn; and many other special family and friends. The family will receive friends from 3:00 to 6:00PM on Sunday, September 10th at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 South 9th Street, where a service to celebrate Karen's life will be held at 11:00AM Monday, September 11th with Father Mike Hazard officiating.
