Justen Tidd

Tidd, Justen R. Kalamazoo Age 35, passed away unexpectedly at Borgess Medical Center on January 26, 2017. Justen was born in Kalamazoo on August 31, 1981, the son of Steven and Beth (Kirkendall) Tidd. He was a graduate of Delton-Kellogg High School, class of 2000 where he played soccer. Justen continued his education at KVCC and worked as a supervisor for J&J Lawn and Landscaping Service for 15 years. He loved being outdoors and coaching his children's soccer teams. Justen was a family man and enjoyed playing with his children, nieces and nephews and friends' children. On September 7, 2001 he married his high school sweetheart, Sarah Ferriell and together they raised their three children in Kalamazoo. He is survived by his wife, Sarah Tidd; children, Weston, Sawyer and Madison; parents, Steve and Beth; in-laws, Joe (Pat) Ferriell and Rochelle Ferriell; brother, Nathan (Kristen) Tidd; sister, Kristy (Kevin) Skinkle; grandmother, Betty Tidd; sister in-law, Amy (Wayne) Boucher and several nieces and nephews. Justen was preceded in death by his grandparents, Frank and Dorothy Kirkendall and George Tidd. A memorial service to celebrate Justen's life will be held at Calvary Bible Church East, 5495 East Main St., Kalamazoo, MI 49048 with Rev. Bryan Craddock officiation on Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at 11:00 AM. The family will greet visitors at the church one hour prior to the service.
