Jurel Lee Fullerton Jr.

Passed away suddenly on September 1, 2005. He was born in Battle Creek, MI, on June 22, 1950, the son of Jurel Lee Fullerton Sr. and Luella Buchanan. He was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church. He was employed by Pfizer Inc. for over 30 years as a Lab Technician. He was active in the sports arena. He coached and refereed various sports. His passion in life was playing chess and teaching others. He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, Veronica M. Fullerton; his 3 children, Kelly Fullerton, Kanika (Britt) Fullerton-Shaw and Jurel L. Fullerton III; his sisters, Mary Lee Fullerton and Lisa Fullerton; brothers, Robert, Fullerton and Garfield Eugene Fullerton. Home going services will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday with a 12 Noon Family hour at Mt. Zion Baptist Church 120 Roberson, Kalamazoo, MI. Arrangements by the Harper Funeral Home, 521 Douglas Avenue, Kalamazoo, MI. Interment Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery.
