Julie Lynn Thielen

Julie Lynn Thielen, age 44, passed away Saturday, June 16, 2018, at Froedtert Hospital following a courageous struggle awaiting a liver and kidney transplant. Julie was born in Racine, August 21, 1973 daughter of Lawrence Thielen and Bonnie Peterson.

Julie graduated from Columbia High School, Columbia, NC and attended Wofford College. She has resided in Racine for the past 23 years last working for S.C. Johnson Company at the Council House. Julie loved to travel, cook and converse with her many friends made over the internet. She will be dearly missed.

Surviving are her father, Larry Thielen; mother, Bonnie Peterson; siblings, Cindy Thielen, Tom Thielen, Randi Thielen, Tim Lau, Lorie Lau; nieces, Maddie and Ashley; her beloved cats, Squeaky and Button; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. She was preceded by her grandparents, Jerome and Mary Thielen and uncles, Dan Thielen, Rev. Jerome Thielen and Thomas Anderson.

Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the funeral home Wednesday, June 20, 2018, 4-6 P.M. A funeral service will be held at 6:00 P.M. followed by a reception.

The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the Intensive Care Transplant Unit at Froedtert Hospital for their loving and compassionate care.
